JKT Selected students are going to be taught Integrity, love of work, patriotism, dedication and unity and solidarity, so these elections are held every year after the sixth form students have completed their exams.

JKT requirements 2022 (mahitaji ya jkt 2022)
JKT urges the youths to report with the following equipment (mahitaji ya jkt 2022): –
- A ‘Dark Blue’ colored jacket with a ball at the waist (one) with one bag at the back, the length ends at the knee without zipper.
- Green or blue sports rubber.
- Two sea blue sheets.
- Long black socks.
- Cold protection clothing for those assigned to cold regions.
- Tracksuit in green or blue.
- A green flannel with a text without a text.
- Fares to go to camps and back home.
In addition, in the wake of Pneumonia (COVID-19) in the country, Precautions to prevent the spread of the disease as directed by the Government through the Ministry of Health will be observed throughout the period when young people are in camps.
JKT Chief Major General Charles Mbuge invites all young people who will have the opportunity to come and learn about Patriotism, Perseverance, Work Skills, and Life Skills and also to be ready to protect and serve our Nation.
